He graduated from the Department of Pediatrics of China Medical University in 1982 and has been engaged in clinical work of pediatric orthopedics for more than 30 years. He studied in Trousseau Hospital, Robert Debre Hospital and Pitie-Salpetriere Hospital in Paris, France. Over the years, he has published more than 50 papers, and undertaken many scientific research projects such as National Natural Science Foundation of China, Shanghai Science and Technology Commission, and national key disciplines. He has trained more than 20 doctoral and master students. The first deputy editor of Pediatric Hip Surgery, participated in the compilation of Clinical Pediatric Surgery, Practical Pediatric Surgery, Congenital malformation, Modern Pediatric Oncology and other books. He has won the second prize of Scientific and Technological Progress of the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education. He served as the deputy leader of the orthopedic Professional Group of the Chinese Society of Pediatric Surgery. Member of Chinese Society of Pediatric Surgery, leader of Pediatric Orthopedics Group of Shanghai Branch of SICOT China Branch, editorial board member of Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery, member of Pediatric Orthopedics of Asia-Pacific Region (APOA) and International Pediatric Orthopedics Association (IFPOS).
