He graduated from the Department of Pediatrics of Shanghai Second Medical University in October 1978. In the same year, he entered the Children's Hospital Affiliated to Fudan University School of Medicine (formerly Shanghai Medical University) and worked in clinical medicine, teaching and research. He was promoted to attending physician of Infectious disease Department in 1986, and to associate chief physician in 1993. He became the vice president of the Pediatric Hospital in 1997.
Research achievements and publications:
In recent years, attention has been paid to the research on the clinical application of microecological agents in pediatrics. He has been teaching pediatric infectious diseases for many years, and has supervised 6 clinical master students and 1 doctoral student.
